PCP Promise
We take promises seriously.
Our Lord God made many promises – to Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, with the Israelites and with us. Jesus was the fulfillment of a promise to us. This model of promise making, and committing to it, is an essential value of our faith. And it is at the core of the Paul Carlson Partnership. We will uphold our promises to you.

So welcome to our PCP Promise! Not the PCP monthly newsletter or update. Not our chronicle, herald or tribune. Welcome to our Promise. In other words, we are dedicated to be an organization of integrity making wise investments on your behalf. As a philanthropic community you should have an assurance in the organizations you invest in. We make these promises to you:
Strategic focus. We promise to focus narrowly and deeply on the mission we are called to - the economic growth of self-sustaining families - and on medical training and treatment.
Local ownership. We promise to partner with the local Congolese leadership and honor the culture, entrepreneurship and decisions to foster local ownership.
Long-term sustainability. We promise to employ cutting-edge financial, cultural and health-related methodologies that move a culture towards long-term self-sufficiency and transformation.
Fund designation. We promise to honor the intention of all funds designated for a specific project and to work in partnership with the local Congolese leadership for complete transparency.
This monthly email, the PCP Promise, will be filled with stories demonstrating our commitment to these principles, our partnership with you who desire to walk alongside the Congolese in order to give and to learn, and our commitment to those who face some of the greatest financial poverty on this planet. As the new Executive Director, I am honored to give leadership to this organization and humbled by the task. As we look into the future, we promise to be an organization of promise, to be of integrity and of hope that we might be a part of God’s promise for the great things ahead.
Walking with you,
Meritt
