Do you know your morning cup of coffee could inspire you to give hope to families in the Democratic Republic of Congo?
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to give to the Karawa Coffee Project to help revive the local economy in DR Congo, where coffee was once a major cash crop until civil wars and coffee wilt disease destroyed the economy in the 1990s. Without enough income to send their children to school or funds to go to the hospital when they become ill, many people suffer. Through the Paul Carlson Partnership, we are working alongside coffee producers to bring back coffee as a major cash crop in DR Congo.
Our goal is $45,000. Your gift provides seeds, agricultural and business training, and equipment to coffee producers—and is an investment in the local economy where our brothers and sisters in the Covenant Church of Congo live, work, and worship.
Enjoy your coffee today, and may it inspire you to give hope to families and communities through giving to the Karawa Coffee Project!
