Looking for medical providers who have experience with severe malnutrition, nutrition disorders, and/or treating severely ill children. I am a Physician Assistant working in Congo currently working at the Karawa Hospital. We are seeing on average 15-20 cases of severe malnutrition every month. These cases present sometimes with hypoglycemia, symptoms of shock, dehydration, and complications related to severe malnutrition such as skin rashes, sores, and eye problems. If you have any experience with these problems or you have experience treating severely ill children, I would like to make contact with you and discuss cases with you. I am working on making an easy-to-follow protocol for the treatment of these children in this low-resource setting and I am open to any and all suggestions. Thank you for your prayers and support.
