Dr. Gado, the CEUM Medical Director, provided PCP with a report that 42 clinic nurses received the pre-eclampsia/eclampsia training from the Karawa nurses who were trained by the PCP Medical Ambassadors in September 2017. Read the report here.
This month, Flory Buki (PCP Board Member and Medical Ambassador) will be training 15 Karawa nurses and doctors in supply chain and distribution management for Karawa Hospital, using the PDSA model.
The goal is to ensure the availability of medicines and supplies needed to conduct clinical operations and maintain such improvements over time.
The training will include:
Inventory Management for Supplies and Medicines
Distribution for Supplies and Medicines
Best practices in the local market
Team efforts (nurses, doctors, adminstrators) to manage supplies and pharmaceuticals
Up to $1,000 is needed to cover the following training expenses for 15 Karawa nurses and doctors:
