Greetings of Christmas Joy, PCP Family!
Life, milestones, masks, ministry, and family in a new paradigm. This unusual year, 2020, is almost history. We do share many common experiences in this “COVID” year; and we each have distinctive journeys that will stand out in our memories. Challenging and yet full of blessings! It is my joy to share with you the Lord’s unique blessings and provision for PCP in 2020.
PCP’s partners - the Covenant Church of Congo, Hope International Development Agency (bridges) and Café Africa (Karawa Coffee Project) were able to work on site in DR Congo with only marginal delays for the entire year. We are thankful that COVID has had minimal impact in northwest DR Congo. Together with our Congolese colleagues, we thank God for His undergirding presence, hand of blessing and protection as medical, economic and infrastructure efforts continued and strengthened.

We deeply appreciate you, our faithful PCP family, for your continuing support through the uncertainty of financial trends and societal upheaval. Your gifts have made this momentous year in ministry possible:
- A multi-year, multi- bridge project will culminate in just a few weeks, opening access to medical care and economic markets.
- Hospitals and clinics were equipped, and medical professionals were trained in COVID preparedness. PCP’s Medical Ambassadors worked together with Congolese doctors and nurses to plan for the future.
- Karawa Coffee producers completed their first harvest, with shipment on its way to arrive in Chicago late January.
Alongside our brothers and sisters in DR Congo, we have persevered for the sake of the Gospel, and have been humbled by the Lord’s provision to carry on as He leads us. I am grateful that Jesus continues to weave all our lives together in His name and for His purposes.
