Carlson Family PicnicA personal story from friend, Joyce Fredrickson

I have very special memories of Paul Carlson. When I was in nurse training at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Paul was an orderly in surgery where I was working. He was a student at North Park College. He used to give me rides in the linen cart. What fun!

I have known his wife Lois since Bible Camp at Hagermon Lake Covenant Point in Upper Michigan. She was in the nursing class the year after me. Both of us survived the cold and snow of the U.P and both ended up in California. What a special connection with Paul and Lois.
